Job Overview:
Chainbytes is a Bitcoin ATM company looking for a skilled Accountant to join our growing team in Lancaster county. The Accountant will be responsible for recording and maintaining all financial transactions for three growth-stage businesses. This includes purchases, expenses, sales revenue, invoices, and payments. They will record financial data into general ledgers, which will be used to produce balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements; distributed monthly as financial reports.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage all accounting operations based on accounting principles
• Prepare budget and financial forecasts
• Publish financial statements in time
• Conduct month-end and year-end close process
• Collect, analyze and summarize account information
• Compute taxes and prepare tax returns, balance sheet, profit/loss statement etc
• Develop periodic reports for management
• Audit financial transactions and document accounting control procedures
• Keep information confidential and secure them with random database backups
• Keep up with financial policies, regulation and legislation

Job Skills:  

• Proven working experience as a cost accountant or in a relevant field
• Thorough knowledge of accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures
• Excellent accounting software user
• Strong attention to detail and confidentiality
• Advanced degree in Accounting
• CPA or CMA preferred

Day-to-Day Duties:

• Refresh and update the Company's Financial Data.
• Reconcile cash and receipts.
• Review and reconcile transactions.
• Record and categorize expenses.
• Record inventory received.
• Record payments you receive; deposit cash and checks.
• Generate quotes.
• Invoice customers.
• Review employee timesheets.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Bookkeeping for multiple companies; intercompany transactions.
• Knowledge of GAAP.
• Payroll Experience.
• QuickBooks Certified or at least 5 years of direct experience with QB online.
• Bitcoin/Blockchain knowledge is an advantage.
• Must have a reliable internet connection and a well-functioned computer desktop or laptop.
